Reform’s Track Record on Protecting Women and Girls

In August 2025, Reform held a conference on women’s safety. They claim that women and girls’ safety is at risk from immigrants.

Let’s review the record.

  • Nigel Farage voted against protections against upskirting in Parliament.
  • In a surely entirely unrelated incident, Nigel Farage’s nephew, Joseph Farage was caught upskirting a woman in a Co-op, convicted, and fined.
  • All Reform MPs voted against legislation to tackle stalking, harassment, drink spiking, and non-consensual posting of photos of women online.
  • Reform MP banker James McMurdock was jailed for violently attacking his then-girlfriend, kicking her until bystanders could intervene. Apparently this is not a disqualifying record to be an MP for Reform.
  • Nigel Farage stated that Andrew Tate is an “important voice” for men. Andrew Tate is accused of rape, other sexual violence, trafficking women, and coercive control.

Reform’s Track Record on Protecting Workers

Nigel Farage claims that Reform is now the party of the working class.

Let’s review the record.

  • All Reform MPs voted against legislation that would ensure workers receive sick pay.
  • All Reform MPs voted against legislation that would protect workers from being forced to accept lower pay or face being fired.
  • All Reform MPs voted against legislation that would allow workers to be fired for no reason.
  • All Reform MPs voted against a ban on zero hours contracts.
  • Nigel Farage thinks £10/hr minimum wage is too high.
  • If ever enacted, Reform’s 2024 tax proposals would save the top 10% of households £5,950/yr. In contrast, the bottom 10% of households would save £230/yr. The proposals would require £90 billion of public spending reductions.

Reform’s Track Record on Patriotism

Reform is the obvious political choice for any flag-loving patriot?

Let’s review the record.

  • Leader of Reform UK Wales, Nathan Gill, was convicted of taking Russian bribes in return for repeating pro-Russian propaganda while representing Wales in the European Parliament.
  • Zia Yusuf, Reform Chairman, said he didn’t “believe so” when asked if others in Reform are taking Russian bribes. When asked if he’d like to be more definitive, he declined to do so.
  • Nigel Farage says he admires Vladimir Putin more than any other world leader.
  • Relative to other British political parties, Reform has an unusually high number of overseas backers with links to tax havens.
